My entry for THE STREETS online exhibition:
I came across this image on a whim while conducting my usual routine of getting my archives together and organized. It’s a simple image, nothing too special about it. What caught my eye was the shadow on the wall — The shadow that did not disrupt the person as they slept peacefully. It’s grimy with a bunch of nuances: The shit and gum stains on the concrete, the differing colors of blue on the wall, how the blue and white checkered pattern of the shirt compliments the light and how the hair, bag, pants and soles of the shoes compliment the shadows.
